a phone that works

i am eligible for an upgrade phone from verizon ....i am now using a 9 yr.old audiovox 9900..... it works were other phones do not,due to location of our camp....i have heard this was because it was a ''tri-mode'' phone....because of it's age [and a short swim] the screen is failing....is there a phone that will work better than others in fringe areas ???

Look into the Motorola Entice or Barrage. Unfortunately the Entice does require a data plan.... The barrage does not.

I would have to agree with Sailorcancer, The Moto Entice, or Moto Barrage.
The Barrage is ALSO WATER RESISTANT =] for those short swime.. =]

at this time i will keep the 9900 and even get another spare off the internet....verizon keeps telling me about putting up more towers.. so we will see.....thanks guys :buddies:
