A Perfect Getaway

Just been to see it tonight. Not bad.

The first hour was dragged out more that it needed to be, but the second half was quite entertaining and even had a couple of funny bits too.

Milla Jovonich wasn't that great in it, but the bloke out of The Girl Next Door was quite funny, and his Mrs was rather fit... ;)

Seemed to have quite a poor audience for its opening night here. About 15 people in the biggest screen in the cinema!

Is it odd that I haven't heard a peep about this film until I logged onto RAB and saw a review today?

It doesn't seem to have had much promotion.

I loved it :D I thought Milla was fabulous - annoying as hell at the beginning, I agree, but that's what she was supposed to be.

Show stealing performance goes to the American Jedi!

Timothy Olyphant's character made the film for me! I did guess the "twist" quite early on after all
what American actor would have bad teeth like Cliff and Cydney? I knew they weren't what they were supposed to be everytime Cyndney smiled!
Despite that it was a good tense build up and a satisfying ending. 8/10

I liked it, i thought the twist might be what it was cause it would just be too obvious to have Kale and Cleo as the murderers. Overall i thought the begining was a bit slow but once it got going it got good.

I enjoyed it but sussed out who were the killers virtually straight away.....

But it was still interesting to see how the story developed......

I liked it when matey was trying to shoot straight with his hand virtually sliced down the middle...:D

Biggest load of rubbish I have seen for a while.

As for your spoiler.

What about the people (3 I think) he shot just before the helicopter bloke shot him.

I just got back from seeing this and i quite enjoyed it. The story kept me guessing, although i kind of guessed the twist right at the begining (something just didn't feel right...if you've seen it then you'll know what i mean).

It was well acted too i thought,
you can't really criticise Milla's acting when you look back on the film as a whole, she was effectively "playing" another character in the film, so her overly excessive "lovey dovey" act at the start was all part of the deception as she was getting used to playing this other character (like the bit where they are reciting lines in the mirror during the 'reveal flashback'). It was this that initially made me doubt her and Steve Zahn's innocence as it just seemed like an act.

I'd say about 8/10 for this :)

I've guessed the twist and I haven't even seen the trailer. So I might still be wrong... I'd like to see the film but it's not my wife's cup-of-tea so I'll probably wait until it's on TV.
