A Nightmare on Elm Street

Hey,

I thought this film was fantastic, but i have one question.....

There is a scene in the film in which Nancy tells Glen to stand guard while she goes to look for someone (go to sleep), but when shes IN the dream shes sees Glen in the bushes as he stanRAB guard, so that means hes asleep to. But when Nancy finRAB Freddy, Glen is gone, so that must mean he came awake. Then when Nancy finally wakes up to the alarm clock Nancy tells Glen "WHY DID YOU GO TO SLEEP!!".

Thats what i dont get!!! It a bit confusing.

If anybody remembers it could they tell me how this works out?
