Ok. I know this is slightly silly but I am a very critical person about stealing as I have never stole anything in my life. I bought a (quite) expensive lipstick a few months ago. I looked at many retailers for this specific shade because it is my favorite and discontinued. The day I bought it and brought it home, I also so happened to lose it - which made me quite rather sad but got over it quickly nonetheless (thinking my son had gotten a hold of it and misplaced it). Yesterday, as I was with my MIL,and i found it still in the box on her dresser. Now, it has been almost over 4 months. Should I just quietly take it back, confront her, or what? I don't want to make it a big deal but I do not really know what the right thing to do is either? TIA.
