A mixed bag of DVD's....

Just been "given' a mixed bag of DVD's to watch over the next week and it seems an eclectic mixture......

  • Transformers
  • Apocolypto
  • Taken
  • A History Of Violence
  • The Brave One
  • We Own The Night
  • V For Vendetta

Anyone recommend one over the other? Are they all crap? Are they all worth a watch?

Opinions appreciated :)
 
Taken, V For Vendetta and Apocalypto are very good...and Transformers isn't bad if you like your over the top action movie.

Not seen the others to comment. :)
 
A History of Violence should be sailing out in front.

After that I'd have:

Transformers (I really, really despise these films)
 
[*]Transformers - guilty pleasure. the whole living robots thing was a poor explanation though.

[*]Apocolypto - actually quite good.

[*]Taken - guilty pleasure.

[*]A History Of Violence - overrated film. critics loved to claim it showed realistic violence, but really it showed cartoon violence, and dumb ass cartoon villian thugs. never mind the woody allen kid... it was a bad joke, half a film.

[*]The Brave One - theoretically interesting concept, but i've forgotten most of it already.

[*]V For Vendetta -overrated... thinks its clever but its just annoying. natalie portman can't act.

Definitely to start with, excellant films,the other i have not seen unless Taken is the Tv series.... and in that case i recommend it
