...how do we stop it? Recently a mining company has bought up land behind are house and will start surface mining soon, this will effect are water source and maybe even are house foundation(or more) is there any law against this? Do they have to give any support if something does happen? but really is there any way to stop them from doing this.
 
Do you have zoning laws in the area you house is in? You need to find that out first. If not, you may be out of luck unless you can get some group with lots of money to support your fight?
