THANK YOU.
As egotistical as John K infamously is, I adore his cartoon style and go to his blog every now and then for cartooning tips he has up. I'm sure he'd hate my art, but I wouldn't be lying if I said his advice has helped me greatly.
And I understand a lot of his opinions. I mean, I can see his points of why he may hate things that even I like, but I don't think it's an all-around reason to hate something. (Or that big of a complaint.) However, I do feel confused at how he manages to like King of the Hill but hate Tiny Toons. King of the Hill isn't the most consistent animation style IMO...
And I have said before, that yes, I do like Family Guy. Yes, I don't like any recent episodes, but I WANT it to improve. If I hated it, I wouldn't want it to even continue. I think John has some valid points about FG's animation style, but considering that nowadays we have animation like Johnny Test and the Esurance ads, I can't say I can complain too much about one of the few things remaining that ISN'T Flash. But yes, I do agree with his points of the eye size and how they don't help with portraying much emotion to the characters.
That's actually a reasonable opinion.
