A lot more phones from Nokia at 3GSM!!

goodbye n95....hello e90. this thing is absolutely sick! let's hope it doesn't take forever to come out, as i am beginning to become extremely impatient! any guesses on how much this thing is gonna be? i can only imagine. well it doesn't matter, i'm getting it.

I'm dissappointed in it, and am still thinking on it.

Why?

Because there's already NUMEROUS devices either on the market currently or just recently announced with tri-band UMTS. Why should Nokia's flagship E-Series (for business users, the ones who are MOST likely to travel abroad and take their phones) not have it?

TV-Out would have been cool, but not super-necessary. could have been uber-handy to do an entire presention from your phone, though.

Nokia is continue to ignore NA market .. Not sure what is the downside to add tri-band UMTS besides carrier support in NA? Is it too expensive to add? Don't get

yeah the press release said it's pre-loaded with maps AND I read it to say that you get the turn-by-turn included i.e. not extra since it's a "GPS-device". And the "Metallica" key that Jonny_Bruha noticed is a Navigator key, shortcut to the GPS.

this is what I saw in Nokia's press release

The Nokia 6110 Navigator comes with a local map pre-installed on the memory card ready for immediate navigation. Additional maps and content - such as traffic information, weather services and travel guides - can be purchased online. Additional maps can be conveniently transferred to the phone by using the Nokia Map Manager application included.

Hmmm, that's a bit ambiguous. I suppose if the 6110 forced users to pay for maps vs. the N95 supporting free maps, then the user could always use Smart2Go anyway? I think that press release is trying to say the content is available for purchase, since I think that's how it's done on the N95 as well.

Yeah I wasn't sure if they meant both maps and content are available for purchase, or if maps are free and other content can be bought

80mb of RAM or internal memory? I can't pull up the site for whatever reason right now.

Meh, either way, I can think of a lot of ways to spend $1000, and none of them involve buying a phone with a keyboard even though I have the SU-8W.

E61i is kinda turning me on though, if the price is right.

6110 has an s60 menu button AND a Metallica button in the center of it??? WTF?!

Come on guys (and gals)... did you not think with what we previously knew about the e90 and knowing the communicator history (the 9500 still sells for ~$500) that this phone wouldn't come out at ~$1K.

I am on the fence on this one, and I don't know why. I went into a phone freeze to get this phone and now, I am less than impressed. I mean .. it's freakin awesome, but for some reason I just can't do the full jump in. Maybe it is the price point. I knew it would be that much, but to have it confirmed kind of sucks.
