yea, but i dont know why she would say "i cant believe this is what you thought this was about.." its like shes teasing him...

I didn't like how she would get him all torked up and then pull away, but the crazy pills line was hilarious!

Although, I think I understood why she was like that.

I saw A Lot Like Love last night and I have to say that it was better than I expected it to be. I've never been a fan of Amanda Peet, but she and Ashton had amazing chemistry in this movie and I loved them.

My favorite part of the movie is probably the New Year's Eve party, too. He came to her at the perfect time.

I just watched it, and I absolutely loved it! :in_love:

Ashton and Amanda were amazing. Their chemistry blew me away.

My favorite part was either the New Year's Party, simply because he came to her rescue, or the part where Ashton sang Bon Jovi's song. He did a great job. :D Ooh, and I enjoyed the date where they did not talk to entire time. "I have a deaf brother, so I can go days without talking."

If you are a hopeless romantic, like myself, you should definitely go check this movie out! You won't be disappointed. ;)

lol i love when they see each other for the first time, after she calls him for the first time. and they start kissing and she says:

emily: "I cant believe that this is what you thought this was about..."
oliver: "What? what i thought what was about?
emily: "you know, im not the same girl anymore, well, i am, but not that same girl you knew."
oliver: {looking around}"uh-huh, hmmm..."
emily: "what are you doing?"
oliver: "I am...looking for you crazy pills...i mean, they've gotta be around here somewhere, right?"
emily: "That's not funny...what if i really was crazy?"
oliver: "...are you hungry?"

:lol: theyre so perfect for each other:blush:

Hey guys  watched this movie on foxtel and then bought the dvd coz I loved it so much. I'm a sucker for predictable romantic comedies :look:. and I am a huge fan of Ashton. There was good chemistry between Amanda and Ashton. Two of my fave scenes were the new years kiss- the way she was looking at her ex and the other chick and then Oliver comes in and sweeps her up so cute :D AND Oliver serenading her with Bon Jovi's - I'll be there for you - one of my fave songs! He's just so vulnerable and cute in that scene :)
I knew wat was going to happen all along, BUT I don't like suprises lol so yeh it was all good :)

hahaha

yep, tasha (xO_tasha) and I went to see it, but I did end up going to the bathroom...

I had too! I got a jumbo popcorn and a jumbo Coke (which is so big that my hand does fully fit around it ) and I ate all of that MYSELF!!!!!!!:lol:

So, I'll have to rent it. :)

Tasha also had this pacifier that she bought that lit up and in random parts of the movie, she would light it up :D

I LOVE ASHTON! :)

Yes, that was, I loved how they could goof off around each other and not think twice about it.

Oh, I loved the dinner where neither of them talked, that was great!

It's like WHMS because of the fact:

A) They are right for each other, only it takes them years to figure it out.

B) Most of the film deals with semi-serious relationship and career issues just like WHMS did.

C) The whole tone of the movie is about a chance encounter and hooking up with the one you're supposed to be with, but don't (won't) realize it for quite some time and during that time there is the possibility that the two main characters may have changed, fallen "out of love" just like WHMS.

This isn't reaching for comparisons. Even the producers said it was a mix of WHMS and other films... Which again, imo, is why it really didn't do much for me because it was too unfocused in a lot of parts.

I just finished watching this movie, and i loved it. One of my favorite romantic movies of the past year, and i can't wait to purchase the Dvd.

The final scene just produced such an uplifting feeling for me, which is rather rare when it comes to romantic movies (when compared to TV). :)

i saw this movie in theatres with emilee (blondiee27) and we both loved it!!

i really like the ending, lol, but emilee went to the bathroom:lol:

Lol, at least you liked it.

I am really looking forward to it! I love Ashton's romantic comedies.
