Twins

Two girls were born to the same mother, on the same day, at the same time, in the same month and year and yet they're not twins.

How can this be?

I don't understand why they could be triplets..
How would they still be born at the same time?
It's like pushing out 2 in one go.
It's just not possible
:S

Modern science makes more than one answer.

Besides triples, quads, quints, etc

they could be implanted embryos from differing parents, like in surrogacy. Could be, not sure if it has happened yet, but just wait.
