It sounds like you might have something called floaters. Their conpletly harmless and usually won't impair your vision in any way, unless you got a severe case. But unfortunatly once you have em, they pretty much stick with you for life. There described as looking like small see thru clear microrganisms, like an amoeba. They usually move all around your field of vision, and it's hard to look at them directly because they move. Roll your eyes and look around, it's easier to see to them if you do have them, or look at the sky, this is the clearest way of seeing them pretty much.

Hope I helped, best of luck.

It's been happening since yesterday, Not constantly. Usually it will happen several times and then stop. Sometimes it moves and looks like a shooting star. It doesn't hurt. Any idea what's going on?
Eating plenty, not dehydrated, not diet sodas, no steroids. Only allergy medications: antihistamine and decongestant.
I definitely have floaters. They look like things I've seen under a microscope but I've never seen a bright shiny one before.

Are y ou eating enough? Are you on medication? Have you been drinking a lot of diet pop with aspartame? Are you dehydrated? Have you ever gotten any steriod injections/corticosteroids due to an injury?
