A little poem for your opinions?

Forget everything once known,
For a moment just believe.
Lie with me under this black abyss.
Look into the freckled sky,
Tell me what do you see?
Can't you hear them whispering,
As they map out the distance,
Planning the inevitable, deciding fate.
There is a trust, a one way trust,
Hoping they would never lie to us,
Misguide or fail us.
Not like we have done to them.
Take my hand and help decipher.
Do you see yourself, Do you see us?
Please tell me something, believe,
Tonight Destiny Lies in the stars.

I actually liked that, though it does seem more like lyrics than a poem.
