alright, i have been feeling great until today. no morning sickness no sore bbs i had migraines for the first 4 weeks but now they are gone. i had my first craving today, i live in cincinnati and i wanted a 3 way from skyline. they dont open til 11 am so i waited til 1130 and went and got myself one. well i was feeling kinda icky feelin and i thought it was bc i was hungry but after my first 2 bites, i was in the bathroom throwing up. :( bummer. this is my 4th pregnancy and ive had morning sickness before but never to the point of actually throwing up. now im wondering how long this is going to last. i had nausea with my second baby all the way to the end but at least i could eat. i really hate throwing up too!

that is normal to start around week six like that, most of the time it goes away in the second trimester, but for some it is there all through out the pregnancy, or comes back in the third trimester.
Mine went away after the first trimester in both my pregnancies, black licorice helps and preggy pops and preggy drops.

well it really only matters with this pregnancy..with my first son i was sick from day 1 till he was born and i was throwing up everyday all day after i drank or ate something i don't even know how everything was alright but everything was great with the baby talk to your doctor about it if you have the same problem, since it has only happened a handful of times for you now i would not worry about it too much but there are ways to help the problem like eating a few crackers before i got up in the morning i mean before i even got out of bed. but my doctor gave me a pill nad i don't remember what it was right now but it will come to me sometime lol...not that that's going to help but talk to your doctor...
i had no problems with morning sickness with my 2 little boy so its all about the baby inside you now! good luck...

It can suck big time.. and unfortunately can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to all the way through the pregnancy. Mine never wore off and I ended up being put on anti vomit meds because I was losing weight all the way through the pregnancy. I will hope for you this is not the case. Good luck with everything. If it becomes super bothersome talk to your doctor about it. You can also drink a glass of ginger tea or eat a couple ginger biscuits before eating you meals.. ginger is the natural anti vomit med and much easy to get.

Usually it lasts until the second trimester, though for some women it goes away sooner or stays with them longer. I had no morning sickness what so ever until about 3 days ago, now I'm nauseous all the time, even after eating. Good thing is though I haven't vomited yet.

Thanks for the status update.. Next time tell people on facebook or twitter... this is a pregnancy question forum!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. :)

I had four pregnancies with morning sickness, and then on my 5th pregnancy around 7 weeks, I literally lived by the toilet. The vomit ting was so bad I'd cry, and at one point grabbed a Bible thinking I needed prayer! lol

Come to find out, I was pregnant with twins. :) It settled down better about a month later, but I had very many days of just living next to a waste paper basket or toilet.

Good luck!

You should be in the clear by 12-14 weeks. Normally by the second trimester morning sickness is gone. Though sometimes you will have to deal with it for longer. Until then, stay away from very spicy, and greasy foods. Try to graze ( eat several small meals throughout the day) instead of just one or two big ones. Try dry toast, crackers, fresh fruit, cereal oatmeal, baked potato, granola. Whatever sounds appealing to you. Even when you feel sick try to stay hydrated drink lots of water. Also try ginger ale for an upset stomach.
