a litte financial help here (saving)?

OK so i get $674 a month and i have a $247 car payment and a $90 cell bill. i was wanting to save so i can go on a cruise in feburary next year (if you can tell me a better time to go please let me know. like summer spring or whatever. im goin to the bahamas though) now i wanted to start saving money every month towards it. how much should i put back every month? don't say i shouldn't do cuz i really want to so please tell me. thanks
not exactly sure yet but the cruise is from 700-900
 
First find out how much the cruise will cost.
Let's say you need to pay $1000 by the end of December to book your cabin. So you have about 6 months to come up with that money.

You will need to save at least 168 a month towards that $1000.
Now you want to spend some money on the cruise....
To make things easier let's just round the 168 up to 200 and call the remainder your spending money (about $192...) if that is not enough then save at least another 50 bucks a month and take out $250 a month for the next six months to cover the expenses and the initial cost of the cruise.

Remember that I don't know what the cruise costs up front. I just used $1000 as an example figure. Only you know what they want you to pay upfront for the cruise.

But for the price of another car payment you should have enough money together in about 6 months.
