legally demand receipts? In the state of Florida, southwest.
My lease has recently ended and I moved. Before it was up the leaser (our landlord) specifically said in person that the place wasn't that bad, just the usual dings on the walls etc. Now, after the lease is up, she completely changes from a sweet old lady to a caniving b****.
Two of us put down 355 and another 390. Totaling 1100 (a whole month's rent). She left 2 of us with 40 dollars and the other with something around that. She lied about a missing gate clicker and extremely exaggerated everything compared from what she said a week earlier.
Is it in within our right now to demand receipts of the work that was done?
