payment on the check.......? I am not sure what to do here. I hired a landscaper to work in my flower beds. We had a verbal agreement that he would dig out the flowerbeds about a foot deep and replace with composte soil. He also said he was going to send out 3 guys to do the work. When I checked the work he dug out about 4-6 inches and he sent 2 guys instead of the 3 he charged me for. He also did not supervise the work. I contaced him and told him of my dissatisfaction but he refused to come to see what I was talking about. In fact, he ignored my emails begging him to come by and look at what I was talking about. I ended up putting a stop payment on the check. I never heard from him until he realized the check was not good. Then he showed up at my house when he knew I was not going to be there to talk to my wife about it. I have not paid and now he sends me and invoice with "overdue finance charges". I need some solid advice including both his and my rights.
