A hello and introduction

First post from a longtime lurker/guest. Just got an E70 to replace my 6820 that I had for about 2 years. Loving it so far. Couple standard newb questions....

1. Anyone know of a good case for this phone? It's slightly larger than the 6820 and won't fit in the pouch case I had for that.

2. Other than a file manager, large clock screensaver and a bible reading program, any other must haves? I've read the threads on those, just stimulating some current conversation.

3. Will a full size bluetooth keyboard be able to pair with the phone?

4. Any good advice on picking up a mini SD chip?


I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as this is my first phone in a while, and I'm not too familiar with the terms as of yet.

For the MiniSD, wait until Sunday morning when the new ads come out from Best Buy, Circuit City and the like. Just about every week one of them put cards on sale.
 
About the chip, nm because I saw the price on the nokia site, then started looking around on the rest of the net. Ridiculous that nokia would charge so much more. Does anyone know if there's a size limit on the GB of the chip?

I'll be updating the firmware tonight, but I've got the voip working, registered with voipcheap, got the settings in, got registration accepted, and am able to place a call. Problem I have is that I can't hear and can't talk, the call just picks up, and then i hear nothing. I'm hoping the firmware update will solve that.

Been reading a lot of posts.

2GB miniSD works fine, 1GB is faster.

You have to upgrade your firmware in order for VoIP to work properly, but it is not a guarantee that it will. (Also, in settings>call> Send my net call ID - turn the net call to "Yes") I have Truphone.com VoIP and it works great.

Updated the firmware, now the voipcheap account works like a charm. Also loaded up the shoutcast and it also works flawlessly. It's perfect because I really like listening to some of the somafm channels. Now I need a stereo headset.

Got a shopping list to get off of fleabay. Case, chip, stereo headset or 3.5mm adapter.

Love this phone.
 
It seems that the size limit for a fat16 formatting is about 2GB. There was a 4GB chip and that chip was fat32. am i correct in thinking/reading that the nokia e70 is fat16 only?
