I've known this guy for almost 10 years - since we went to high school together. He was always the "hot, football" player yet I was always his "cool hommie" he had. We were never close but it was nice knowing this guy and I could always laugh and have a good time. After high school and college, we tried to get together and hang out but never did - i either had plans or he did or when he would call me last minute to hang out, etc... Last year, I took a risk and asked him to hang out but I think it was "too late". A month later, he called but it was only because he wanted something (just a roommate and I think he was desperate). And with that, it was a big turned off and moved on. NOW he texted me out of nowhere asking me how I've been. That's nice, yet in a way I was kind of expecting me to ask him something.... thing is, he kept asking me questions throughout the day, asking me how things were and that was that. Random, right? Maybe he was bored, booty call, ran out of female attention... who knows but it was just kind of random.... I don't want to be negative and make assumptions/judgments but it does make me a wee bit cautious but I shouldn't worry... (but wouldn't you be cautious to?)
(Or maybe it's a test from life to see how I'm doing. I'm not interested in him "like that" anymore but if he wants to catch up w. an old friend, that's cool too. However, I'm a bit busier w. my life now... and happily single)
