A great chess program for the Palm OS

This is pleasing news. Kudos for the find, kaissa! :)

(You know, I can't help but wonder why there haven't been more conversions to freeware recently ...)

Actually, Varjak, they're not functionally equivalent. jig's suggestion works cause "Save as" tries to save an exposed content, but "save link as" tries to save an embedded, unexposed content. For some reason I am yet to find out, in certain webpages, the .prc contents kinda decompile, therefore you only get a bunch of useless characters. Using "save link as" avoids reviewing the content and saves the embedded object as-is.

Thanks Jig. I don't know why 'save as' comes up sometimes and 'save link as' comes up others. I never knew that they were functionally equivalent. I thought that that might just save the link and not the file. The book file downloaded normally.

For some reason, I have no problem downloading/saving the book.pdb; but can't download the actual prc file. I only get a screen full of gibberish. And no right-click option to 'save as.'

Why can't they simply allow double-click downloads like most Palm apps/prc files?
