First: Go
here and read it all.
Second: Get a newsgroup client. I use
Alt.Binz, which is free.
GrabIt, which is free also, and
NewsLeecher (not free) are also popular but more CPU intensive. You also need to install
WinRAR and
QuickPAR.
Third: Get access to a newsgroup server. A premium is better than the free one you get with an ISP in terms of content, speed, completion rate and unlimited downloads (if that is the plan you subscribe to). At the minute, I would recommend
UNS, which has 101 days of retention and SSL encryption. A unlimited download plan only costs $15/month - and no need for seeding!
Fourth: Get some NZB's. You can search for the files yourself but its much easier to get an NZB, which will direct your client to the files and download them. You can get them at
FST (yes, there are other sections besides the invite forum!), or subscribe at an indexing site like
NewzBin, or a free indexing site like
NZB Matrix and
Merlins Portal, or make your own at any of the
file indexing sites. The site
BinSearch is very popular and good.
Fifth: Download your NZB file and open it in your client.
Sixth: Sit back, relax and let your download come to you at
full speed.
And thats pretty much it.
