Simply, i love taking photos but i'm of the trigger-happy pocket digicam generation who doesn't have a clue how a camera works and has never felt the need to consider the composition for fear of wasting film.
I am nothing but shameful of this and have therefore decided over the summer to learn how a camera works and how to use one properly, in preparation for probably buying a digital SLR later this year.
Therefore, i wondered if someone could tell me a good, cheap second-hand non-digital SLR camera to go for. There's loads for around £50 on Ebay which is around my budget but i have no idea what is good to go for when considering my aim to learn how to use a camera and have no idea what all the numbers and stuff mean regarding lenses.
What film is good to use also, are there different types. Perhaps if someone could suggest a good book to help me on my way that'd be good too.
Any help appreciated!
