a good, light girly book?

I'm looking for a book about travelling, adventure, romance, and fun. kinda like a chick book, but not too much. any book where the main character kicks butt...>< like meg cabot's 1-800-WHERE-ARE-U.....or something
 
omg i have hte PERFECT light gilry book for you. its about these girls who go to other countries to learn or study and they meet hot boys and a lot of stuff happens to htem but i wont give it away. its a series called SASS. my fav is girl overboard. they are AMAZING im addicted. heres one:

Anything by Sarah Dessen or Deb Caletti :)
Both write the best stories.
my favorites are probably This Lullaby, The Truth About Forever, and The Nature of Jade.
 
Almost all of Meg Cabot's books are like that.
Light and girly but with a kick-ass female character.
I know a lot of people like the Mediator series.
You should also read the Princess Diaries books.
They are soooo much better than the movies.
If you liked 1-800-where-are-u, you've probobly already read these, but just in case.
If you have read all her books, there's this really good british series called Confessions of Georgia Nicolson.
The books are sort of crappy, but their light and hilariously funny.
The first is called Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging.

Either THE NOTEBOOK or THE WEDDING both by
Nicholas Sparks both of them good and romantic and will make you cry. And some traveling with some romantic adventure but that is mainly in the wedding.
 
a few good chik books, are ttyl, bra's and broomsticks, sisterhood of the traveling pants, and catherine, called birdy, that ones not really a chik book but the main character tottally kicks butt
 
Oh, well it's not very adventur-y but it is a light chick book. And it isn't written like a book it is written with IM's, E-mails, etc. And it does have romance, humor. It is really good it is called Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot and I finished it in one night because it is that good that I didn't want to put it down, and it's not that long.
