A good, free, user-friendly, advanced thesaurus to download?

I already have Wordweb, but it's too basic and limited with its choice of words.
And I recently downloaded this The Sage, but it looked like an in-flight control program. I want something that's fast like Wordweb and loaded like The Sage?
- I am asking too much?
I do not mean to use random words, it can be that I know of a word but just can't think of it, thesaurus can come really handy then. Besides, when I am discussing the same thing at length, using the same word multiple times doesn't look nice. Like I just used same twice.
And to the top contributor, I should have mentioned that I don't use Mac.
 
There is no such thing thing as an "advanced thesaurus." You can't download an application that will pick up on the nuances between words, and give you just the right ones for a particular situation; but, be prepared to look stupid if you substitute random words, which can obfuscate the meaning or worse. Thesaurus.com is quite adequate.
