i am too. We both played, but when i heard her play, it was like the music talked. She is older than me and way better than me but she wasn't all 'oh i'm so much better than you' or anything like that, so why am i obsessing over getting as good as her? The other kids were calling out songs like love story or the charlie brown theme and she actually knew all of the songs that they called. She was very nice to me, we never talked about our playing but on the last day of camp, she won best pianist at the awards ceremony and my confedence level dropped even lower than when i heard her play. I felt like i would never be as good as her. I even had a dream last night that she came and helped me learn to play as good as her! If that's not crazy i don't know what is! How do i get over wanting to be as good a pianist as her? She is 14 and i am 12. I know that i'm jelous of her, so you don't have to tell me that.
