This just occurred to me as I was sitting here. Why is the statue of Atlas holding up a sphere if they believed the world to be flat at this time? Is the statue just something thought up in a more modern time or was this statue actually found in Greece? It just doesn't really add up so if anyone has any extra information about this just let me know.
