A film or films that took more than 1 viewing until you liked it?

I am ashamed to admit it but both Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs on first viewing I didn't really like. They are now 2 of my fave movies of all time!

The Blair Witch Project..didn't find it remotely scary when I watched it the first time, thought it was a waste of time and didn't really see what all of the fuss was about, however I caught it one time on really late so decided to put it on whilst on the pc, and just couldn't help constantly glancing at the screen and totally getting into the story..found the ending really creepy too. It's definitely a film that neeRAB two watchings before really saying it's rubbish.

EDIT: *jaw dropped* is the poster who has posted before me really who I think it is!?!?

i've never been like this with movies EVER (songs, yes, but not movies)

never saw a movie and didn't like it, then watched it again and it growing on me .....

There are films I've appreciated more after listening to the DVD commentary and getting a better idea of what the director was trying to do, but I don't know that I end up really liking them. Examples:

Chicago: I understand now that the director thought it important to segue smoothly into the songs and give each a kind of realism within the story. However, I can't say I really agree it's necessary. When I'm watching a musical I can cope with characters bursting into song; you don't need to explain it. And the film remains damned by a complete absence of any likeable characters.

The Talented Mr Ripley: when I first saw this it had been billed as a kind of serial killer thing. In fact it is quite different. Maybe if I watched it again I would like it, but frankly it seemed a bit slow the first time so I've not bothered.
