A film more horrifying than THAT Irreversible rape scene?

I saw the film some time ago. There are a few parts that are hard to watch but it's probably the idea of getting hit in the face with a stone that makes people grimace. You don't see everything that happens to her and it really focuses on the behaviour of those people and that some people enjoy the stoning and then you have the family members who really don't want to do it. I think it tries to show people that in certain countries this might be the law but not everyone believes in that law and the things they get found guilty of are ridiculuous. It wouldn't say it was torture porn though. The scene isn't just about her being stoned to death.
 
It wasn't so much horrifying as distasteful. It didn't help that the rest of the film was garbage either.
The killer inside me was supposed to be horrifying with the face punching of jessica alba, but it sort of didn't look real enough to elicit a reaction, I could tell they were jump cutting frames, and that the reaction to being hit was not realistic, bad makeup also, so no real impact. Stoning...might be a lot worse, real stoning does pretty horrific damage, you might as wel be hammering someones head.
