Im going to be buying a Kicker dual sub with the box, but Im wondering, can I buy a NON Kicker amp for it? If so, what are some good options? Im trying to save as much money as possible
Also, will I be able to power my sub/amp on my car battery? Without draining my battery or causing problems for my car and sub?

Actually im not EXACTLY sure what kind of Kicker.
Its $150, with 2 Kickers (Look about 10") with the box, at Pep Boys. They only have one left, so it seems like a really good deal

Another question, can the amp be more watts then the speakers?
Lets say the Kickers Im getting are 300 watts total, and I have an amp for 1000 Watts, would that be safe?
I might be able to get an amp from someone in my family, but it might not be the exact wattage
