I am trying out for debate team, and my assignment is to write 2-3 minute speech on the topic "Should schools have a dress code?"(Not uniforms, just a dress code in general. Ive got my pros and cons (A few more would be ok) and i'm leaning towards for a school dress code. My question is, in a debate speech, do you tell the pros and cons of both sides first, or do you just tell the reasons why your side is the best?
By the way, this wont be debated in an actual competition, it is just an audition, so no competing tips, please.
