A few questions about Sprint phones?

First of all, I got the Samsung Intercept a couple months ago. It worked perfectly for the first month or so and I absolutely loved it. Now, I'm having A LOT of problems with it. I want to know, if I go to the Sprint "headquarters" in my area and they check it out and can't fix it, will they let me get a different phone of my choice and pay the difference? Or will they simply trade mine for a new Intercept? Because I DO NOT want this phone. I am very disappointed, and found a phone that I think I would be much happier with.

Forgetting the questions above.^
I'm not sure how long I've had my phone, but I know it's been 90 days so I can't return it. I always go to Radio Shack when I'm eligible for my 2 year upgrade, I get great service every time and good discounts. But, I've never had a phone that I was this disappointed with. If I went to Radio Shack, say to get the Evo, would I have to pay the full price ($449.99) or could I get some kind of discount?

Lastly, what is the easiest way, in my situation, to get a new phone without having to pay full price? I cannot afford $449.99, I'm looking to spend from $50-$150 on a phone. I use my phone for everything, all the time. It is very important.

Thank you in advance for any help. (:
I've been a Sprint customer for so many years, I don't even know how long it's been now.
Until this phone, I've never had any problems.
