I've recently taken a liking to lotuses and lily's but I have NO idea how to cultivate either.
I am a computer science major, and I have a strong background in sciences and math, I own a bamboo that I've kept alive for 5 years... so I'm not too horrible with plants..
Anyways, what should I use for substrate, how much light do each need? is there any use to either flower? (I know I sold tiger lily's when I worked at a pet store and they helped in dechlorinating water...
Anyways, any advice on these flowers would be cool.
Also, I have a small swamp behind my house, water lily advice maybe?
