A dose of life sucks.

Thanks JLXC, I'm still really upset, I feel I let him down in a way...

Rocky was a size of a middle dog. He had be put in a bigger cage when flown over to the states... Heh, he wasn't fat, he was just really big.

Meh, sorry to hear about rocky. I myself have had many pets, cats, dogs, etc. Many have died. Each one takes a small piece of your heart. But each one also leaves a bit of themself in return.

I've got two cats that I've had for at least 8 or 9 years. One of them is missing, somewhere in this city with some evil bitch who failed to return him, and the other is fortunatly still with me.

I'm not sure what I'll do when my kitties pass on, but I know that I'll have to be cool with it, and not fret too much.

It's natural for one to grieve over a loss, even if it's an animal. They're family members too.

But don't let it eat you up too much.

 = bad

/me does a Jingles dance to make Meh feel better.

I know how you feel. I have had a cat I call smokey and he was the only memory I had from my mom when she devorced my dad when I was 1 years old. He was a kitten and he ,15 years later, died this rescent summer. Under a nerry bush in my back yard. I cryed and cryed alot and miss him. Sorry to hear that Meh.

I've had my share of cat/kitten mishaps here on the farm.

3 kittens were mortally wounded by an insane automatic garage door. They just didn't quite make it all the way in.

One cat was attacked by the neighbor's dog right in front of my little sister. And she was the only damned cat that was even worth half a damn at catching mice.

Oh, and our first Golden Retriever had a hole in his heart, and would pass out when he got excited. The vet said as long as he passed out, he was fine. Well, he must've forgot to pass out, and he died over in the neighbor's yard. I had to carry him back across the road. It sucked.

Damn Monkey.. :frown:

Well, I've had 8 cats through my life (Yeah, you think I'm some wierd cat lady now don't you?)

1 when I was little, that I don't remember.

The first one I can remember, got bitten and shook and had it's back broken, right infront of me by the next door neighbours dog.

We also had a male cat, who was a huge guy who was the father of Rocky, and he ran away when we moved.

Then the mother of Rocky (and his 3 siblings) was given to me by my best friend when I was 4, had her tail run over, so it had to be cut off. She went kinda wierd after that. We sent her to my mum's but then got her back when we moved, she kept getting harrased by her son,(Rocky's brother) so she then ran away to our old house.

Rocky's brother got run over, 2 years ago (we used to live next to a main road)

Rocky's sister 1, is still living with my mum, (and still alive, as I heard last)

Rocky's sister 2, got given to a police officer when she was born, as a present (we got burgled one day, near when they were born, and we had to give one away, as dad said we had too many)

Rocky was always the runt out of the group, he had a huge cut near his abdomen, and had to be sewn up, but the vet didn't tell us, that his balls were caught off (nice huh?) He always had gooey eye, but that healed up after awhile, he then got a urine problem, where sometimes he couldn't pee, but the crystals in his bladder got too big (it's common in cats that are neutered) So he had to take pills for the rest of his life, but he still pulled through :happysad:
Oh well..

I then also had a kitten given to me when I was with my mum, so she was taken care of there, she was a little orange thing, and she got run over, but she survived, she then got bitten by a fox, and had a broken leg, and a cone around her head, and had to be kept in a cage, she then died after a few weeks.

My dad said he would get me a new cat, and a dog.
