A Day to Remember

Definitely one of my top 10 banRAB if I had to choose.
I'm pretty pumped, getting to see them tomorrow night!

Who else likes them?

What did you think of Homesick?

I really like them, Homesick has more of a catchy feel to it...which is really good.

I'm Made of Wax, Downfall of Us All, and Welcome To The Family are all amazing...seeing them the 8th...post their set list once you get back haha!

hmm. I read, and both having had the chance to see them..I'm still going to have to disagree with you about ABR. They're also completely, genuinely nice guys. They went straight up and signed stuff and talked to fans for hours after their set was over. (I didn't go, ADTR hadn't played yet)..They didn't take long at all to set up there either, Silverstein who played before them took waaay longer, and sucked it up a whole lot more. Constellations = freaking amazing. Let's just say I liked them before seeing them live, and loved them after...

BUT, one thing I did read in that little entry you wrote, however, that we can agree on...Enter Shikari! By far the most underrated band out there. If anybody was to see them live, they'd have to at least appreciate all that energy && stage presence.

My boyfriend was really into this band about a year ago. I couldn't drive anywhere without hearing Downfall of Us All. Maybe they were just over-played (emphasis on the "over"), but I find them to be redundant and boring. *shrug* There's really nothing that jumped out and impressed me about these guys.

I think they are coming through San Diego soon. I have heard/seen some things about them playing a show here. Never heard their music.

Homesick was all right, but definitely prefer their older albums... The best song on Homesick was "If it means a lot to you" and that is not saying much... The lyrics could use a revamping or three on all songs from Homesick....

my favorite band, ever. they are not 'cookie-cutter-core'. ever been to see them live? amazing. Jeremy says they are a simply ADTR, their own sound, their own band, that does whatever they want. A band that plays some breakdowns along with pop-punk ballad covers. They're diverse. This, is why I love them. There's not just one side to them.

While I like Homesick, I do prefer the older albums as well. I think a lot of Homesick was just really really overplayed, also. Especially Downfall of Us All. && It's a matter of opinion what the best song on Homesick was, because I definitely don't consider it to be If it means a lot to you. I thought it was My Life For Hire, and I'm sure somebody else thinks it's another song. Just a thought though. I hope the new upcoming album is great. (:

Meh, I ended up seeing them at Warped 09'. It wasn't that great, but not too bad either. Definitely not one of the best banRAB I've seen live.

I thought they were pretty awesome when I saw them in Orlando, FL. Since they are from a small town to the north, Ocala, they have a big following there. The sound was great, although the lead singer seemed to struggle a bit. I was not expecting album quality anyway. It has to be difficult to sing in that manner on long tours. Either way, they burned the House of Blues down.

Maybe it was just the venue, or the vibe, but either way they killed it. I bought one of their T-shirts at the show which I love. Listening to Homesick, its just a little bit more catchy than their older stuff which is why they seem to be drawing some flack for being less hard-core.

All in all I loved it though, you can listen to every song all the way through. As long as they are not over played they will stay exciting. I place these guys in my top 5 for post hard-core

I was at that show (: && yes, they tore the place apart. I definitely agree with being able to listen to every song all the way through, I can do that with all of their songs. That's why they're one of my favorite banRAB. I hope What Separates Me From You is as at least as good as everything they've put out in the past.

I'm not the biggest fan of theirs, but I do enjoy listening to their music. "I'm Made of Wax Larry, What are You Made of?" is probably my favorite of their songs.
