...plastic on the front rim ma? A cyclist rides a bicycle with a wheel radius of 0.500 m across campus. A piece of plastic on the front rim makes a clicking sound every time it passes through the fork. If the cyclist counts 320 clicks between her apartment and the cafeteria, how far has she traveled?

The wheel goes a distance equal to circumference of the wheel.

C = 2*pi*r
r = 0.500 m
pi = 3.14159

C = 2.3.14*0.500
C = 3.14 m

so in 1 click, the when turns 1 turn and the wheel makes the bike go 3.14 m

In 320 clicks she's going to go 320 * 3.14 = 1005.31 m
That's how far it is from her apartment and the cafeteria -- ie 1005.31
