A curious question about MMS

I have been flashing phones for awhile now and I consider myself pretty good at it. However, lately, I have had a few phones (namely, the Glyde and the Blitz) where they can get internet and send pic messaging just fine. However, when a picture message is sent to the phone, it never arrives. I have all of the settings correct. However, for some strange reason, it just never arrives even to say it cannot be downloaded.

I am wondering why this is. SMS works fine too, although that doesn't have much to do with the MMS.

I've been getting that too. I think it's because they are sending it as SMS text instead of MMS. I had somebody resend it to me as MMS and I got the pic fine.
