I want to work for a Fire Department some where in Connecticut but they hire firefighters before there certified and its the only way to go to the Connecticut Fire Academy I currently live in Florida and I am planning on possibly working for a department here for a little while but they train and educate you before you get hired and won't event think about touching you without it. How difficult would it be to switch from a Florida department to a Connecticut department and would I have to redo my training. I also know that Florida fire academy's focus more on brush fire training and Connecticut doesn't why aren't firefighters trained more equally in all areas?
