A costume for the theme 'in the night garden'?

I've been invited to my friend's school social and everyone has to dress up to the theme of In the Night Garden so (Besides the TV show characters) what is something good to dress up as?

you know the flowers at the start? maybe make a fairy costume based on them. look up 'fifi and the flowertots' and maybe make a similar costume :)
 
I would say something dark purple with dark green leaf accents. Being a had band and maybe a few on the outfit. Definitely something great for the party.
