A client is requesting removal of images from website and promotional material.?

They signed a contract originally, but due to a breach in the contract they are saying they they now have the right to request removal. I do not think they have any rights to do this but I am however unsure.
The business is currently going through transition and these images are very valuable for me. Is there anything they can persue through court for this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
