Aw, I have this movie at home so today I decided to watch it again. So happy to see this thread on page 1. :yay:

Love it, Chad and Hilary have a great chemistry, imo and I enjoyed all of their scenes. The kiss was so hot! If only they'd make a sequel. :lol:

Just saw the movie tonight, it was actually a lot better than I expected, and I liked it a lot. Chad was hot :) and Hilary did a really good job, she cracked me up a few times. I thought they worked really well together and they had good chemistry onscreen.

Im a sucker for hopeless romantic movies too, Liz. :lol: I can't help but want to see a real good love story every once and awhile. I thought it was one of them, and for a teen movie, it wasn't that bad at all. How old was Hilary and Chad?
 
My sister begged me to buy this film on DVD and eventually I did. I ended up liking it alot more than I thought it would. I mean it's just a sweet, funny movie.
 
I popped in the movie last night before I went to bed thinking I could go to sleep while watching it, but ended up staying up and watching the whole thing again :lol:

I agree with you, Hilary isnt my favorite actress and I didnt really care so much of her movie that she did with her sister. Material girls I believe its called, but she was good in this movie. I liked her character.

What still cracks me up whenever I watch it was when Sam was dressed up with that mask over her face, you could totally tell that was Sam. Its funny how nobody knew it was her with just a small mask on :lol: But I love it anyways.
 
I love this movie and I agree, the commentary rocks!! It's sooo funny. :)

I like the stepmother. She is truly a great comedic actress and I also loved Sam/Carter. They were true friends and I loved how he got with the punk girl too. It was sweet how he walked away with her right in front of Shelby.
 
Hmm...I didn't have an outright favourite or anything but I'd say my least favourite were the "evil" step-sisters...they just became annoying after awhile..:look:
 
yep I am a sucker for love stories I'm a hopeless romantic what can I say plus when there's a hot guy in it I have to see it :lol: what can I say I'm shallow :lol:

I thought Hilary and Chad did have really good chemistry in this movie though I almost believed they were close in age even though they aren't
