This is a short story for children age 4 to 7 I have know illustration's so if you could have a good imagination it will help thank you . I hope you like it because I'm getting no where with poetry.
The Bar-Bar-Gee
She was a pirate ship, A pirate ship was she ,
At Glascon Dock's she stood waiting for the pirates food
Then from the bay she sailed away into a karma and lonely sea
Treasure Island was her destiny , The captains name was Buk Wood .
He sailed the seven seas , O ! he was a cruel man a nasty man was he
A skull and crossbones on the flag
He shouted out to the men ''No time to waste we must make hast ''
''five minutes more and we go from the shore ''
Then suddenly captain Buk Wood Growled ,
He said ''I see a stowaway upon the deck, a boy with a red scarf around his neck '
Captain Buk Wood shouted '' Tie a plank to the side of the ship''
We''ll make him go in for a dip''
The boy shouted out in fear '' I'm sorry I thought this was a sailing boat with which I could play ''
Captain Buk Wood looked bemused
He said I'm the captain of this ship and I say you go in for a dip !
The boy sat on the deck crying as he took the red scarf from his neck .
''I will give you this scarf if I can stay ..and be a pirate for today '
Captain Buk Wood laughs , you mean to say ,you don't want to swim with the Shark's today ?
The boy's mouth fell open , As he began to say ''I can't swim '
And please captain Buk Shark's are not my favourite thing .
