dirty opportunistic racists lie about their stances in order to take advantage of the opportunity. We have far too many of those in power now.
I give Rand and his dad credit, they are standing their ground even if it does harm their political careers.

Too bad we don't have more people do that.

No.

But if you are asked if you support civil rights and you refuse to say yes, and you stick to that point only until it begins to harm you politically, then it's pretty safe to say you're a dirty opportunistic racist.

I and I support white supremacists' right to assemble, even though they are repugnant assholes.

Or hey, maybe it is a loaded question. Are you still beating your wife, EC?

If he said yes, people assume he supported racist policies such as affirmative action and if he said no then people think him a racist.

He didn't outright say Yes or No, for he would have to qualify his response and people would label him a racist, and oh, look what happened?... People, like yourself, can't handle complex stances on issues.

You've made a great point that I agree with. At least he held his ground.

Until Thursday, when he completely backtracked and waffled on his opinion.

I've already addressed that. Paul is not a racist and no single individual that personally knows the man thinks that he is.

Indeed. He pointed out very clearly that he abhored racism. So obviously he doesn't support racism.

Sure, they can assemble. Hell I don't care if they assemble into a Transformer style mega-bot (thought it seems that bot would be mostly assholes instead of bipedal humanish). We have TOW missiles and helicopters--some the last of which are even marginally usable in combat.

I don't think segregating public anything is tolerable though, and from what I can tell Paul jr. does not agree.

Really? I have yet to see you provide any information or quotes that are racist by Rand Paul.
