If all you're concerned with is the income aspect then it isn't for you. Photography requires you have a passion for it and a strong eye for creativity.
It's highly competitive with no guarantees you'll make it or make a lot of money. For some it can net a good amount of income. For others, not one dime. Unfortunately, this is just how the creative world is. Ruthless, unforgiving, and challenging. You have to decide what is more important and your reasons for choosing photography: Money or love of the art.
