MECHANICS HELP!? A car travels along a straight road, when it passes a lamppost travelling 24m/s and had been accelerating at 0.9ms-2 to reach that speed.

At the end of the acceleration to reach 24m/s, the driving force is removed and the car is left to roll, subject to a resistance force from the road of 1500N until it stops.

Find the distance the car travelled before it stopped while slowing down.

ASSUMPTIONS - NO AIR RESISTANCE, CAR IS A PARTICLE, ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY IS 9.8m/s (or negative if decellerating)

Thanks :)
