im looking to buy a car from a shop that does repairs mainly but also sells cars. its a 97 nissan maxima 120000 miles. im looking at the kb book value but dont know whether to put private party or dealer. i tried both the dealer one said its worth in the 4000 area. but the private seller shows it should be sold for what shop is selling it for.
