A broken Rack pinion on a Dodge Durango The rack pinion is loose from the inside? The steering wheel feel loose sometime but to keep the vechile from going straight you need to turn the steering wheel to the left some time even more , I alredy did 3 wheel aligment and nothing still the same thing! I dont really want to replace it do you think it can wait 1-3 years like this until a new owner come in fix it?
Can this wear my tires faster? If yes then I will buy cheap tire,

it is est to replace the rack. and yes it wil damage your tires. if your tires are not tracking ight and not at the same time and angle, the tires will fight against one another to stay straight and this will prematurely destroy the treads on your ties.
