A brief summary of China's history?

I've been doing a lot of research on it and I really can't cut down everything I've read about into a small paragraph.
Can anyone please help?
 
you know about that temple that was bombed and theres a huge pic of a chinese guy on it? check on about the yang dynasty good luck
 
Dynasties come. Dynasties go. People from the steppe invaded. A wall didn't work. In 1912 the dynasties went forever. In 1949 the Communists won.

To attempt to reduce 5,000 years of history "into a small paragraph" is daft
 
You can't summarize it in one paragraph... However, I will try.

Since the begenning of time, when the first settlers came to China. The Chinese have been a remarkable civilization. From the technlogies to it's philosophies. It has been ruled by Emperors who have tried to unite China. Those who succeed were usually blessed with a Dynasty which lasted for a while. The Chinese have prospered and suffered.

Then, whatever you want your thesis or whatever era you waant on more specifics as the last 2 sentebces. You can't really summarie into one paragraph, jsut like you can't summarize the entire Roman civlization into one paragraph. What I would reccomend is get into some specifics.
