A BOOK ABOUT REJECTING ART IN SOCIETY?

I heard there was a book that revolved around a society whose government took away forms of art like music, dancing and ofcourse art in order to maintain peace within the society.
I'm not entirely sure the whole synopsis of the story but it would be great to out what this book is called =]

That description is a little vague, but I think it's Anthem by Ayn Rand. It's a classic book so it should be pretty easy to find.
