for a sporting event. Don't get me wrong I enjoy sports, but has there ever been a venue this large sold out for classical music? What is the largest audience of classical music enthusiasts you have heard of or been a part of? I was watching PBS on the 4th and there was a huge crowd at the Capitol Mall with the National Symphony Orchestra playing but I know they were not there solely for the orchestra. What would it take to attract a crowd to fill a 94,000 seat stadium to hear classical music? Nemesis on Piano? Hafwen on Bassoon?
