After reading a lot about the success stories of dogs, cats and even hamsters, I wondered, what about fish?
Tell your story about adopting/caring your fish or some of the things that you have learned. Sharing experiences could help other fish owners with current or future issues. (Things like this actually did help me)
So, tell us your little fishy's story!
MINE: =P
When I first got my veil tail Betta, Blake, he was in BAD condition (I got him from Wal-Mart, so figures). He was inactive, underfed, living in dirty water 8in a tiny cup; he had clamped fins (which were showing signs of finrot) and looked just horrible.
Having no experience with Bettas, I took the little guy home and fed, changed his water, cleaned his tank...etc. according to only what I could find on the internet - as the Wal-Mart guy who was suppose to be knowledgeable, has LESS idea than me when it came to fish.
Now, about two months later, Blake has regained his health and has become active without any signs of clamped fins or finrot, and he loves to watch from inside his 2-gallon tank. And he is my very first Betta (and third fish)
** Best story = 10 points =)
