Hi everyone!thank your for reading my question and i hope i get some good answers. I changed my oil today and had a 5 quart container of 5w30 in my garage so instead of going to the store to buy 10w30 i decided to use what i had first. Only thing is that on my cap it says to use 10w 30. Hands freezing i poured the new 5w30 in trying to beat the slushy snowy rain mixture falling down.... After i changed the filter and added the new oil i started my car and it seems to run just the same as 10w 30. Am i hurting my car by not following what is recommended or is it going to be fine running it with 5w 30. ? Again thanks for listening to me ramble on about this
